About Annemieke Mintjes

Trainer. Facilitator. Author. Dreamer with a plan.

I believe in bringing more humanity into organizations — through love, attention, and meaningful work.

I’m Annemieke Mintjes, founder of Love@Work and co-founder of Geluk Werkt. For over a decade, I’ve helped teams and organizations work more consciously, with more joy, creativity, and connection. My tools? A mix of agile thinking, play, serious dialogue, and a whole lot of heart.

I work internationally as a trainer, facilitator, and speaker — combining strategy with soul.

My background

I studied communication and specialized in the fields of workplace happiness, agile work, and organizational change. I’ve been trained in:

  • Agile & Scrum methodologies
  • LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitation
  • Storytelling & Serious Gaming
  • Executive programs at Erasmus University’s EHERO: Return on Happiness, Love in Business, and The Meaning of Wealth

In 2020, I co-authored the book Hybrid Meetings. In 2022, I published the Dutch edition of Love@Work. In 2024, the English version followed — born in collaboration with colleagues in India.

Why Love@Work?

“My journey with love at work started during the Return on Happiness program at Erasmus University. From there, I dove deeper — taking every opportunity to learn, experiment, and share.

As a fellow student once said to me: ‘You’re being moved, and then you move into action.’

That’s exactly it. Because sharing is multiplying. And because I believe that a more loving world is not a naïve dream — it’s a direction.”

A little more personal

Outside of my work, I’m a mother, a curious traveler, and someone who finds deep joy in meaningful conversations — the kind that open hearts, not just minds.
India holds a special place in my heart, not only because it’s where the English edition of Love@Work came to life, but also because of the people, the energy, and the deep cultural wisdom around love and connection.

I believe that love is not something we switch off when we go to work — it’s who we are. And that belief guides me in everything I do.
